Bah! I hate getting a cold. I really wish I had one of those tubes that Luke was in after he got attacked by the Yeti.

It would be so nice to just float in some super heated water while wearing a diaper and a hose to breathe through. But instead I must sit here and suffer. At least there's Nyquil.

Where's my damn tube Lucas?!

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, I'd be rich.

Funny you should mention this. Paterno and Bowden were both using one during the Orange Bowl.

Hmm, I got my bacta tank off ebay and so far it's worked quite well.

It came with a free medical robot, which was rather nice.

I thought this thread was about new Star Wars suppositories and enema kits.

In Truce at Bakura, set less than a day after Endor, Luke is being treated by 2-1B for his electrocution injuries and is offered two treatments, a long slow one, or a shorter one with bacta immersion. He grimaces at the memory of the bacta tank, thinking how he had tasted it on his breath for weeks the last time. He opts for the slower, longer treatment instead.

So, be careful what you wish for...

I bet it's times like that Luke wishes he had an adamantium skeleton and rapid healing, even if a lightsaber could still cut through him.

This makes me think of a Toyfare Twisted Mego Theater episode I recently read.

Cobra Commander: Televipers, set up a line of communication!

Televiper 1: We HAVE names, you know. I'm Steve. This is Dave.

Televiper 2: [waves]
