Stern or Sirius hasn't announced the schedule yet, but I'm willing to bet you'll hear at least one replay if not 2 or three during the day over the 2 Howard channels.

I would answer that question, but Deftones would FUCKING GO INSANE!!!

So,

1. go to www.howardstern.com
2. click on the sirius box on the right side of the screen
3. go to the FAQ, and find your answer

To his defense he atleast has a lot of experience on the radio. But without Dr. Drew as the straight man he really lost a lot and what made him good with the loveline callers really was lacking in the radio show circus format.

For my money I'd stick with Kevin and Bean in SoCal. Especially since Adam was just a voice actor for that show for a couple years.

What I really want to hear is how Penn is doing with his one hour radio show. L.A. got boned out from that one for some reason.

I heard Penn is pretty good. Instead of an hour of that we get a repeat of Frosty, Heidi and Frank (Which I enjoy, but don't need an hour repeat from 10am).

The cost of other channels are nothing, at least the music ones anyway. No commercials, just a voice monkey to say something everyone once in a while, and you could have someone program in what is going to play.
So Howard's show is gonna have commercials? That would certainly suck if there are commercials on his show.

Don't they have to pay for the rights/royalties/whatever for playing the songs? it isn't totally free.

Plus, don't they have special and exclusive shows like concerts and stuff? Didn't they broadcast the Live 8 concerts? They are paying for those one time event type things aren't they? So it isn't totally free.

All sattelite talk shows have comercials...no one can talk for 4 hours without a break...Opie and Anthony break for a song + commercials about 3-6 minutes an hour

and on satilite radio, they aren't required to do commercials, its just a chance for the personallities to go to the bathroom ect. like o&a will say that they will go to break, but then talk for another 20 or 30 minutes if something hits them.

So, what's the best deal to get something good for my car? My gf's brother had the one that you play through the FM radio, and it sucked. Any better options?

Do you have a tape deck in the car?

Otherwise, get an inline FM Modulator - no problems at all when you do that, as it's hardwired between your antenna and the radio.

It went through wired? Or a wireless FM transmitter?

If he had an inline one and still had static, he hooked it up wrong.

I'm in the Chicago metro area (big FM market) and have had ZERO static since putting one of these in.

He used the FM transmitter, and he had tons of static. I cannot vouch for his wiring job. Would you be so kind as to list everything I would need to get this going in my car?

Does your vehicle head unit have a cd changer port on the back?

In other words, are there controlls on the unit for an aftermarket CD changer, or is there an AUX button on your radio?
