This list is a disussion of the phenomial DVD machine

Apparently, this is G. Kleinman's secret list. I invite you to JOIN UP!
This list is a disussion of the phenomial DVD machine and the constant release of the incredible looking and sounding movies for it. I purchased MY DVD player in Late november and have over 100 movies in my library. So whether you are planning on buying one or are a PROUD owner like myself, I invite you to JOIN UP!!!

What's a disussion? Is it the act of dis-using?

I think its great that there is finally a place where people on the internet can exchange ideas and info about DVDs. I might just join when I break down and buy a player.

Wow! Scary thing is, the list actually predates this site. Went to message#1 and it was composed Apr 19, 1998 when yahoogroups was onelist.com (Geoff's started in 1999).

Beginning of 1998, DVDs would have been new and innovative.

DVDs are going to be next great thing?

That's what they said about Betamax.

I've got to give them props though. Only 116 members and a pretty good number of posts considering what a joke most Yahoo!Groups are.
