Are Gorillas Appealing Animals?

With the remake of King Kong at the cinema at the moment, gorillas seem to be the topic of popular discussion. I personally think gorillas are very appealing animals and surprisingly cute as well, even the male silver backs are sweet in their own way. In the occasions I visit the local zoo, the gorillas kept there are deemed as very popular exhibits. Do any of you think gorillas and other primates, appealing animals?

Anything that's 400 lbs. of muscle, and eats 50 lbs. of food a day is intriguing.

They remind me too much of the Texas side of my family to be cute.

Unlike Chimps, Gorrillas are rather gentle.

Gorillas are cool enough that I could spend a lot of time watching them at the zoo.

Chimps on the other hand get downright ugly when they grow older. They look cute when they are young (you always see young chimps in TV or movies) but they get to a certain age and fall down of the ugly tree. I'd be happy if I never had to look at an old chimp ever again.

I've always wanted a pet that can hit me with its own feces from 30 feet away.

No. This is pretty much the reason why King Kong wasn't a good movie.

I find them fascinating.

Plus, we did evolve from them.

That Sigourney Weaver movie ruined gorillas for me.

I am, however, still a fan of Gorilla Math.

"So I've noticed that your home smells of feces..."

"Yes..."

"And not just monkey feces!"

"Can we talk about something else?"
