OK, I want to know if at one time or another, or currently, you're "that guy"; you know, when people tell you not to do something because then you're "that guy."

For example, I was once almost "that guy" when I almost wore a T-shirt of a band to that band's concert.

Most recently, I was "that guy" when I walked into Wal-Mart at 11:55PM the night of the Xbox 360 launch and was able to get into the middle of a line which was just forming. The guy behind me did not get a premium system and he had been waiting since 2:30 PM. While we were in line I told him I got there 5 minutes earlier.

There's many things which you can do to become "that guy" --- what are yours?

I think most people who are "that guy" are oblivious to the fact. I know I am.

I was almost "that guy" on the grassy knoll in Dallas, but at the last minute I decided to be born 12 years later. Talk about a missed opportunity.

I wore a band t-shirt to a concert of the said band. I almost wore my Best Buy Johnny Cash shirt to Walk The Line but decided to not be "that guy".

I used to be "that guy", but I had it surgically removed. Now, I'm "the one in the funny hat".

I played a trombone in the high school band and the 3 of us had t-shirts that said "The Bone Section"

I'm that guy.

I tap on the horn in non-traffic situations... Like when I'm home from the store and need help bringing in groceries.

The other day it was in front of church, when the kids forgot to turn off the light in the backseat while I was about dropping them off to go park. Caught heck for that.

Hello, my name is 12thmonkey, and I am "that guy".

I have, under my own free will, as an adult, gone to Toys R Us to search through pegs and pegs of action figures for the hard-to-find short packaged one.

I know I'm "that guy" because I used to see people doing that and I would roll my eyes. Now it's me.

When Return of the Sith opened, I joked about wearing my RotS t-shirt to the midnight show. Someone mentioned "Don't be that guy" and I said I wouldn't....

Wait, so you cannot wear a band's shirt to their concert, or a movie shirt to that specific movie, but the only time it's ok to wear a sports jersey is when you are at a game involving said team? The fashion police are confusing .

I heard they changed the name of the movie shortly before release because "return" wasn't very sith-like.

Are you 'that guy' if you wear a tour shirt you bought at a concert and wear it there. I've never done that (tour shirts are like $35!). Just wanna know.

Fashion is a fickle friend indeed...

I was "that guy" when I read your post and thought to myself "why would The Bus take kids to a Sandra Bullock movie?"

He's "The Guy" who bumps long-dead threads for little reason.

Edit: Okay, not him. The one above him is "That Guy".
