2006 Calendars: which one do you have?

It's that time of year again to replace the old calendar with a new one.

I'm taking down my 2005 'Chik-fil-a' Spy Cow calendar and replacing it with a 2006 Despair.com's "The Wishes Collection" calendar a co-worker gave me.

So what kind of calendar are you going to have this year?

Big fan of calendars here.

5 Star Wars calendars and 3 Madonna. That's all for this year.

I always get calendars from Half Price Books. Buy $30 worth of books and you get one free.

I have several.

Desk calendar: some origami-a-day thing
Wall calendar: Tom Bianchi's On the Couch

I'm still trying to find this super cool desk calendar that I had a number of years ago. It had a different "3-d magic eye" pic every day. I think the company who made it went out of business, though.

An autographed wall calendar by Derek Hess (artist) which is a collection of some of his recent works.

I received another wall calendar with photographs of gargoyles from atop various buildings.

I also received a desk calendar called "Fact or Crap", each day it lists a blurb and you have to guess if its really fact-or-crap.

I got a small page a day cat one, 3.5" by 2.5"--perfect for right under my monitor at work. At home we have a giant grid calendar and for a large wall calendar at work I'd like to order a new At-a-glance calendar again.

I have a really sweet coffee one. If I'm feeling not so lazy later, I'll scan it and post pictures.

Every Christmas I give my wife a 365 Kittens calendar. I get a different one every year. She's gotten me WWE calendars, Sopranos, South Park, Thomas Kinkade, and this year she got me a Pirates of the Carribean calendar. Not sure what made her get that one.

Of course, I also have several others. Free ones from my insurance company, my church, my wife's church, local chinese restaurant, etc.

For the past few years I seem to have settled on the Sierra Club wall calendar. Will probably do so again next year.

Maybe she wants you to dress up like Johnny Depp and have a theme night?

I use a planner to keep the master family schedule and everyone else gets the "page a day" type as part of Christmas. This year we have Dilbert for the husband, Bad Cats for the son, Origami for the daughter, and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models for the teenage nephew.

Same as every year -- my wife gets us a large rabbit calendar for the home office and a small rabbit calendar for the kitchen. At work, I just use Outlook and my BlackBerry.

None yet at least. Last year we had a kittens calendar hanging up on the fridge. And just a free calendar (that we get crap loads of from paper houses) for here at work. I'd never keep anything here I bought or owned.

No thoughts for what to get this year.. with sales, we'll have to start looking. Now if only there were a Serenity calendar....!

My friend got me a Dalmatians calendar. We both have Dalmatians.

I love my dog: Lady (she was named after Bob Dylan's 'Lay Lady Lay' and I have to tell her that 1,000 times a day).

This is it:
