The annual "Who's at work?" thread

There are about three people in the whole facility -- a calibrations tech, an electronics tech, and me.

not me
sorry

although I have done in the past, on Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Thanksgiving day and day-after. Of course, I earned holiday pay so that helped. I don't get that anymore, so the day they see me on a holiday is a day, well, I must have forgotten what day it was.

Hey, I am at work now but am going to take off in about 20 minutes. Large building that is eerily quiet as the only time nobody here is xmas. (plan a hiest). I don't mind working xmas eve, I was scheduled off, but I negotiated to work today and receive boxing day off.

At work...deployed to some sweltering hot locale in southeast Asia. Thanks, Uncle Sam!

(but seriously, keep all us military folks who are seperated from family in your thoughts today)

I'm still here.

Something went awry with a dataset and now I'm restoring the saved data so I can re-run two days worth again so that I can start processing month end. UGH!

I'm working double shifts this holiday weekend. Can't go wrong with holday pay as well as overtime. I'll be watching movies the whole time, so I'll basically be getting paid to do what I would be doing at home anyway.

Hopefully Santa can find an air duct or something to come down.

I was at work until 11 p.m.

Then I walked out to my car and discovered it had been broken into.

I'll be spending Monday having my driver's side window replaced.

Ho fucking ho.

I've been at both jobs all weekend. No holiday pay for me.

On one hand, I'm thankful for employment. On the other hand, I kinda wish I had "normal" hours like everyone else.

Since I'm a self-representing artist, I'm always at work... or am I always off... I can never keep that straight.
