Why do women use the excuse "too nice"??

I used it in high school all the time. It usually meant the guy was a "friend" and not someone I was attracted to. It could also have been that I found him attractive, but the attention made me uncomfortable.

I then went through 2 shitty relationships for almost 10 years, married one of them.

Before I got back out in the dating scene I did a lot of soul searching, read self help books, and just in general a LOT of thinking. When I started dating, I had in mind what I knew I didn't want, but didn't want to limit myself on what I thought I did. I did NOT want a "bad boy". I wanted the "nice guy".

So I get an email from my friend today. She's 37. Last October she went on one date with a guy, slept with him, and has been hung up on him ever since. She pines for him daily with thoughts of how perfect their love would have been if only he'd return her calls/emails/text messages...

Today she tells me a friend of hers has asked her out. She's not sure she wants to go out with him because...

He's too nice.

*smacks forehead*

He bought her some gifts to cheer her up.

How DARE he!

I always thought that "Too nice" was a euphemism for "probably not so good in bed."

Women always told me I was "too ugly." I'm not sure what they were insinuating.

"Too ugly" means "unattractive AND an asshole".

because everyone wants someone they can't have .. and women or men for that matter don't like it when it's too easy, no challenge.

Not all of them are this way.

Some women LOVE drama in their life! I've lived with one, she had a bf that treated her like dogsh*t, and she's still with him. Then while they were still together she had a date with a guy, but didn't like him because he was too nice. One thing she looked for in a man was arrogance.

She really pissed me off, always bitching about her boyfriend. All he had to do was send one text message saying sweetie this sweetie that, and she's ready to spread her legs again.

It really frustrates me.

Are you still in love with her?

I had a girl tell me one time "look, I know you're a nice guy but right now I'm just not looking for a nice guy". Fast foward ten years and she's twice divorced with a couple of kids from a couple of fathers and everytime I see her I wonder if she would like to have a nice guy now. It's amazing how when you get what you ask for it's never really what it seemed it would be.

You should walk up to her and yell "I hope you're miserable, you fucking bitch!" Then maybe she'll like you.

Usually women eventually realize that 'the bad guy' is bad for a reason. IMHO younger women are useless and can't really be trusted to make an informed decision. They are fun for the short run, but don't expect ot settle down.

For fun I kept blowing off this girl to see how she'd react. Just like clockwork she got more and more interested. I did everything that the 'bad guy' would do, and it was sad how well it worked.

What do you do when you find a younger woman who realizes the bad guys are out and she should marry a nerd?

"Too nice" generally means there is no chemistry or he doesn't earn enough money for her

Basically the "too nice" excuse is a counterbalance. Women use it to offset what they hate about men. Example: "On one hand he is too nice, on the other hand he is ugly and I don't want to be seen with him".

I've never said that in my life.

I always get the nice ones, and the nerds then after a certain amount of time, their pyscho tendencies come out.

We all have psycho tendencies. Some are just more pronounced than others.

Some women are just dumb broads who aren't truly happy unless they're being treated like shit.

OR

They're just trying to turn a guy down without hurting his feelings.

CAN'T LIVE WITH 'EM...

Statistical improbability. Won't. Ever. Happen.
