I'm a salaried employee and I should be getting my X-mas bonus this week. This same company gave me a 4th of July bonus ($350 after taxes) after only working for them for three months. Plus - I am off all of next week and the following Monday for certain, possibly the whole week after New Year's. And our X-mas party this past Saturday was awesome - it was on the thirtieth floor of a building downtown and over-looked the new Busch Stadium. And I just found out that everyone that was carried over from the old company is going to be fully-vested in the new company's profit-sharing program.

We are definitely getting screwed. and to top it off they expect us to work 5 hours free before we get paid overtime.

This will be the first year for me at the firm as an owner, so no "Christmas bonus" for me (I get to fund everyone elses bonus....). I hope to have a revenue sharing check though (if we actually make enough to share this quarter).

I get NADA, I also work for the government... no party except a alcohol-free potluck lunch, the only day off we get is the day after Christmas because Christmas falls on Sunday, and no bonus or presents.

I'd anticipated a bonus check that would allow me to break ground for a new swimming pool, but instead we were given one-year memberships in the Jelly Of The Month Club.

Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, I suppose.

But at least in the end you got a bonus that was 20% more then the previous year.

No bonus. I do remember some years where we got a gift, but it seems like that was at least 3-4 years ago. At my company, having a job was a bonus! It's getting better though....

No monetary bonus here, but every year they give us a few bonus days to take off during the month of December. Was 4 days the first few years I've worked here, it's 5 days this year.

I got a $35 GC to Wal-Mart and a coffee mug.

More than zip in the past so I can't complain.

No "Christmas" bonus, but an "incentive bonus" that comes out mid-Dec. It's a flat figure based on job title, and depending on how well the company did the previous fiscal year [ends in Sep], it's got a multiplier. The multiplier this year was 1.5x, which was nice. Between that and my new job title [same job], the net of the bonus was more than the gross of last year's bonus, even after taxes and contributions to 401k. Of course, like Michael Corvin, the vast majority of mine is going toward bills and other people's Christmas presents.

I don't currently have a job (interview tomorrow ), but my gf did get a ~$200 bonus. Pretty cool since she's only been there about 4 months.

I get the equivalent of one paycheck (half a month's work) as results sharing in addition to about 15% of my annual salary as my annual bonus. As we have two kids and my wife doesn't work, this money was already spoken for. No iPod for me, but perhaps a nice case of Ayinger Celebrator is in order.

I work for the state (at a college) so no bonuses (it would be illegal). One of the fringe benefits of working for the state (another one is that anyone who wants to can look up my pay on the web since it is considered public information).

You beat me to it!

For my part-time job, the owners are having a party for the managers that I can't go to because I work that night at my other job. If the gifts are like the last two years, I'll probably get $50 and a Christmas tree ornament which is cool. From my second job, if I get anything, I won't find out until Friday when I get paid.

Our company holiday party is usually on a Saturday, and for those people who can't go because they work on Sat night, they usually give them a 25 or 50 dollar gift card to the mall. If you can go, but don't, you get nothing : )
