I agree with Kitty!

Seriously, Dave, you were MUCH more approachable in person than you are on here!

Oh, and I want to clarify: the reason I said sometimes it's easier to be friends online is ONLY because it's... uhhh... well OK, it's easier to flirt online. Especially with the married guys. I'd joked about the guys getting me drunk in the Portland Meat thread, and was blushing about that when I met them in person!

No, you can't punch people over the internet. Although I have heard that Bell Labs is working on it.

Hey, if you have the power to give him height, you should be generous and give him the extra foot or two he really needs (from what I've HEARD)...

J/K, Scorcho... you're terribly TERRIBLY funny, really, but like I'm going to tell you pervs anything. If you'd showed at the Portland Meet, you could have asked nosy questions in person, like everyone else did!

Anyhoooooo, back on topic... anyone ELSE have any stories?

I've always thought you were an asshole both online and in person but it works for me. That whole "birds of a feather.." thing.

Well, you DO talk about killing things a lot...

No no, I just meant you were easy to talk to. No offense meant about how you are here!

So far most people have shown to be pretty similar in real life as they are online. There's the occasional difference here and there, but maybe I've been lucky and haven't met any complete crazies. Then again, there was one lady who was totally off her rocker on this other forum...

I met my husband online and he turned me onto this forum (although I don't have as much time these days to visit this place). We happened to meet on the forum where the crazy lady mentioned above hangs.

Just some nutty woman in Brooklyn (not from this forum). She dominated conversations with everything she said being super weird. She was also very sensitive to how people treated her. She's a therapist... naturally.
