Apple iPod Settlement?

Anyone know the status of this settlement? I thought I read it was finalized by a judge in August, but I still haven't received my $50...

There was paperwork you had to fill out and send in.

I should have been more clear. I filed my paperwork with them several months ago... Filled it out and mailed it in and never heard anything...

Settlements take a LONG time - I sent some paperwork to Microsoft for their settlement around a year ago, and finally received a postcard 6 months later saying it'll take up to another 18 MONTHS to get my check.

What was the lawsuit about? I gather it's something to do with the battery.

The settlement was approved. An objector (actually, an objector's attorney who wants to be paid some money) appealed the approval. Thus, the benefits from the settlement are being help up by this jackass.

You don't need to send in your ipod, all you need to do is write down your ipod serial number on the claim form and mail it out.

Still waiting for my $50 apple store credit, so i can get me a nano.

The objectors to the settlement withdrew their objection. Thus, the settlement is now final and the proceeds will be coming soon. Look for your credit...
