Bed Linens for King Size Pillowtop??

Man, I am ticked off. So my king size Sealy Shavano Ultra Eurotop was just delivered and none of my bed linens fit! I made sure I bought king size sheets for up to an 18" matress (mine is suppose to be 17"). I bought a kize size cashmere blanket and a king size microsuede comforter set. My fitted sheet doesn't completely cover my matress. I can only tuck the flat sheet and blanket in at the foot of the bed and only about half of the matress is covered on the sides. Plus the comforter covers just a little more than the pillowtop.

Has anyone else had these problems? My sister has a queen pillowtop and she had to get king linens for hers. I can't do that since I have a king.

Any suggestions? Do I need to pay the extra money and get deep pocket sheets? If so, what do I do about my blanket?

I'd try a 20" deep California king sheet set. A regular king is 76-78" x 80",and a Cal. king is 72 " x 84".

Yes, they are made solely for this purpose.. As for the blanket, you may need to try to find an oversized one.

As for the CA king, unless you have CA king, they wont fit properly. (note the one dimension is way smaller than either of the non-CA king. We have CA king and we have to get deep pocket sheets. We use a down comforter with a duvet rather than a blanket. We did have to get an oversized bedspread to cover the sides. That is one of the drawbacks of deep mattresses.

1) How deep are your deep pocket sheets? 14 or 15 inches? If 14, that could be part of the issue. You probably want 15-16 inch pockets.
2) You dont have to pay and arm and a leg. Not that these are the best prices or quality but there are even some cheap options here on multiple pages (searched under deep pocket king) http://www.overstock.com/?PAGE=ENDEC...ep+pocket+king

be careful and read how deep the pockets are and the coverage area. I just dont believe both a 14 and 15 inch pocket can cover an 18 inch mattress. The deeper the better and the better they will look in my opinion.
