$1000 tops. Episode I is not going for much at any point in the last few years and because of the glut of what was put out, its going to be hard to even get what you originally paid. The other figures are slowly being replaced with newer sculps and this makes them look outdated. How do I know? A good majority of what you have listed...I have as well. I am holding onto mine for a later date, when maybe just maybe I might come out even.

The only bright spots I see, maybe the vehilcles and the larger 12" figures would sell at a reasonable prices. A good measure to find out how popular an item would be, would be to go on Ebay and see what its selling for or what the seller is listing it at. Its a good measure of current worth. I would sell each item piece meal vs all together. Thats my .02 cents. I really wish you luck with it.

Not going to worth much more than what you paid for 'em. Other than the exclusive/sneak peak stuff, newer and re-release figures are plentiful, cheap and easy to find.

I've got a lot of the POTF re-release figures just to have 'em. Never figured they'd be worth anything. Now my original issue figures might be worth something someday (I even have one of those freaky "big-headed" Han figures)!

Given M is the set of DVDTalk members

Select:

Mposters in this thread = { M | x ∈ M, x has posted in this thread }

Mhaving regular sex = { M | x ∈ M, x is having regular sex }

Theorem:

Mposters in this thread Mhaving regular sex =

Proof:

Proof by contradiction. Assume Mposters in this thread Mhaving regular sex != . Therefore there must exist at least one poster in this thread who is having regular sex. This individual also posseses a vast knowledge of Star Wars figure collections. The likelihood of an individual posessing both qualities is so small that we may assume it is 0. Therefore Mposters in this thread Mhaving regular sex != cannot be true and the theorem stands. Q.E.D.

$1000 is pretty good if I could get that much. I used to collect them as a hobby but now I'm not really interested. Perhaps I'll hold onto them to sell them at a later date.

Allright, I’ll help you out.

First, make sure your appearance is nice. That is, you are shaved, your hair is neatly trimmed, your shirt is ironed, nice slacks, etc. Then when you see a girl that you want to meet, just walk up and make some idle chit-chat, the type of idle chit-chat really depends on where you are but it could be about food items if you are in the supermarket, her dog if she is walking her dog in the park, a book that she is looking at if you are in a bookstore or library, etc. Now this is very important – DO NOT MENTION YOUR STAR WARS COLLECTION DURING THIS CONVERSATION.

Once you have spoken with her and, assuming you are still interested and have kept up the idle chit-chat for a few minutes, go ahead and ask her if she’d like to get together for a cup of coffee (sure, cliché, but it works) or a bite to eat. If she turns you down don’t worry, you tried and the more experience you have just talking with girls will make you more confident. Also, obviously not every girl you like will be available, even if only two or three out of ten go out with you, that’s still two or three more dates you’ll have than if you hadn’t said anything in the first place.

Less than $1000 (maybe $700..if' you're lucky)

Check the completed auctions on Ebay and you'll see that POTF ('95 - current) figures go for alot less than retail.

It seems only the "Unleashed" and certain 12 inch Figures command more $$$.

Reminds me of all the old POFT figures (95-EpI) that I need to get rid of.

I had way more than you have with no Episode 1 stuff and I only got $800 shipped in the summer. So, I would say around $550...maybe less.

Right, because the "coolness" factor of someone who collects DVD's and posts on a DVD bulletin board all day is enormously higher than that of a Star Wars collector. Nice

Sorry for the OT post, but I have a lot of SW figures as well. I'm trying to decide between holding onto them for a future kid who may or may not come down the pike or giving them to charity now. Thoughts? While I don't really think selling them is worth the effort, I can't really see some kid getting excited over a Grand Moff Tarkin "action" figure this Christmas...
