Anybody Know of Any Websites That List Motorcycle Fuel Efficiency (MPG)?

I'm trying to find out the miles per gallon ratings for certain motorcyles. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Although the data is not 100% complete or even certified, here is a good start for you.

here is another

http://sportrider.com/bikes/146_Weights_Measurements/

I'll make it simple. The smaller the cc of the engine and the less you rev it up between shifts, the better the fuel economy will be.

A 500cc or 600cc is your best bet, and don't rev it over 3500rpms. You will see in the mid to high 60's MPG.

The new Suzuki GS500F looks like the perfect entry level bike

I have a Suzuki Bandit 1200 (1200cc engine) I can get anywhere from 32mpg to 44mpg depending on how hard I run it and the type of riding I do. When I commute to work, I keep it at 3000 rpms or less and shift quick (so the engine almost always hangs right around the same RPM for as long as possible). I can usually break 40 mpg in town riding that way.

The problem with a powerful bike is that it is very hard to not go faster and accelerate fast. When I say I try to kep the revs down, that usually means I don't succeed

Vespa are motor scooters however any my friend is looking into motorcycles and is trying to compare various brands. He's found some stuff on Hondas and is looking for others.

Thanks to everyone who has responded so far.
