Damn...do I hate those NBC TV radio ads!

Have you heard these radio ads for NBC where it is 3 to 4 people discussing the shows that will be on that night? "Hey, I went surfing the other day and it made me think of that show 'Surface'" "Yeah, wow...that's on tonight then it's on to Blah Blah which is a big hit for NBC." "Man, I sure want to fuck Patricia Arquette the star of Medium who won the Emmy while Joey watches cause he's so damn funny."

I heard one the other day for The Biggest Loser. "I don't even like reality shows, but I love The Biggest Loser!" "Wow, yeah me too!"

I almost didn't watch My Name is Earl because of their obnoxious ad campaign for it. I figured ABC was running the ads so people would tune into something else.

i heard the same one on my way to work this morning. i thought it was pretty insulting with their thinly veiled attempt to fool you into thinking you're listening to the DJs on a morning show.

Just on pure forced post-Friends/Seinfeld aren't-we-clever casualness, I want to dislike those ads with every fiber in my being. Yet, for some reason I find myself listening to them more than any other ads in a given block.

Go figure.

Hey, I was just about to say how much I hate them too! I'm even insulted about how they have to say "the following is a paid advertisement" right before them too. But I guess we're talking about the ads and the shows, so they're doing their job... :-(

I'm also annoyed by the newspaper ads for that new Geena Davis show (commander in chief?) that are made to look JUST LIKE editorial cartoons.

What is this, the year of subversive advertisments?

I haven't heard one of these yet but now I want to.
Wait. No I don't want to cause they sound terrible.
But then again, I sorta do have to hear at least one.
But not if it's just gonna annoy me.
I'm not sure what I want.
Now my head hurts.

I heard one today, and was surprised that they actually mentioned the "implausiblity of Lost."
