Does how you react to a judgmental person reflect your guilty feelings?

My theory is that the amount of anger you have over someone being judgemental over something you do is relative to how guilty you FEEL about what they are judging you about.

This is excluding, of course anyone disrupting your personal freedom of choice about the matter, im talking simply about verbal confrontation.

For instance, if some vegan lambasts me verbally about eating meat, I think its quite funny. It doesnt bother me in the least to hear someone get so worked up over the poor animals Im eating. It can be quite entertaining even.

So when people get angry over what people say, they feel some kind of guilt or insecurity on the subject. Is this generally true?

This is about art, isn't it? You're finally coming to grips with your repressed homosexuality.

Usually, true. But sometimes you may just hate the prick who's judging you.

Nope. I mean, that could play a part sometimes, but sometimes I just think the other person is an idiot and needs to be told off, and told off loudly. Basically, the degree of my response is determined by the degree of their persecution. If a vegan said I shouldn't eat meat, I'd say "whatever." If they said I shouldn't eat meat and that I'm the greatest bastard who ever lived and went on and on and on, then I'd be a bit more lively.

They could just be fed up with the ignorance.

Usually I just give the Nernt (as in "ig-nernt") a blank look. But, sometimes, I hear the same lame-ass, closed-minded comment one too many times, and go off on someone. It never does any good, of course, because you can't open a closed mind with a crowbar.

But, it does feel good for a little while.
