How many hours do you sleep?

On average I sleep between six and seven hours a night. I usually stay up until around 12:30am and I have to wake at 6:30am M-F. Some times I sleep less sometimes on weekends more but generally I get around that amount. On average how many hours do you sleep a night?

Just a smidgin over 7 hours for me. I usually go to bed around 10:00, and the alarm goes off at 5:00. Usually don't roll out out of bed until 5:15, though. I'm definitely not one of those people that can just jump out of bed as soon as the alarm goes off.

4-5. I'm technically not an insomniac, since I can go to sleep, but if I go too early, I feel like I'm missing out on something. I could be surfing the net, watching movies, listening to music, or finding more DVD bargains, during those extra couple hours. It's a habit I need to kick, as I don't think it's particularly healthy.

10-11. I need my beauty sleep. Plus, my job sucks so I don't really have any energy in the morning. If I had a better job or a lady right now, I'm sure I'd sleep much less.

I go to bed about 11:30 at night and wake up at 6am, so that makes for 6.5 hours of sleep a night. Not good, but I feel like I need more personal time since I spend 11 hours of the day driving to work, working and driving home. If I sleep more, that's less time to do personal stuff. I usually make up for it on the weekends, sleeping about 9 hours Sat and Sun morning.

6-8 for me. I usually go to bed anywhere from 1-2 and get up anywhere from 8-10. If I work late and I don't have to be anywhere the next day and I just don't feel like doing anything, I'll sleep 9-10 hours.

Until recently I always tried to get 8 hours per night. Stariting this summer, I am now averaging around 6.

Nearly the identical situation for me (I'm in bed at midnight).

I wake up at 6 M-F, and usually make it to bed by about 12. I usually don't actually fall asleep till about 1:30 though. 4-5 for me.

this poll sucks. it technically leaves out many options. 6-7, 8-9, means that anyone that sleeps 7.5 hours cant vote.

should be 6:00 - 7:59, 8:00 - 9:59, etc.

Usually average 6-7 hours on weeknights from midnight-7AM. I'm not one of those people that can fall asleep as soon as I get into bed... I have to be exhausted to do that. On weekends I average 8-10 hours.

When I worked a shift from noon-8PM, I was going to bed about 3AM and getting up about 10AM. Same amount of sleep as I get now, but I'm usually much more tired. It sucks being a night person.
