Do you ever want to post something/start a thread, but don't?

Do you ever find something you want to post but decide not to? Maybe because it is to personal, involves your work or you think people will laugh at you?

Why didn't you post it?

TEK would have probably posted about it first, anyway.

Come to think of it, ANYTHING you can think of, he's probably already posted about it first!

I think up threads all the time and later I forget what they were before I get to a computer. I need to carry a notebook with me to right them down. It would really benefit everyone here.

I've had this idea floating around for awhile called "Portrait of a Bowel Movement". It would start off with someone doing their business and then everyone would then try to guess the size, smell and shape. The person with the correct answer would then head to the bathroom, and the whole process would start over again. Basically it was like "Name that movie quote" only with poop.

I was going to post a thread about a news story my wife heard on news radio the other day about a 21 year-old woman who accidentally killed herself talking on a cellphone in a running car with the garage door down, but I cannot find the story online...so I didn't.

Like JustinS, I was going to post a story about the two straight guys in Canada that are using the "same-sex marriage law" to get married just for the tax break... but I couldn't find the story either.

That's what happens to me! It's SAD how often something happens and I think, I should start a thread and see what my fellow Otters think, but never remember.

Even now, I'm thinking, there was something, SOMETHING, SOMETHING...

As a rule of thumb: if you do start carrying around a notebook so you can jot down ideas for a new thread... it may be time for an intervention.

I was going to start a thread about a sneeze that backfired, but it seemed like a horrible, just wretched idea.

yeah, i wanted to post in garolo's "Accord or Camry?" thread to put in my vote for the Accord. Then I realized that I had absolutely nothing to add to the conversation except: "buy an Accord. I like mine a lot." I actually have little knowledge about the Camry.

I think I'm gonna go post it anyway.

Well, I'm inspired now.... this is the second poll I've seen that still has a "twikoff" reference in it. I thought that requirement was only for the duration of his term as Vice President?? Or is it FOREVER???

Oh! And what the hell is wrong with black jeans?? I've never been able to gleen the answer to that no matter how hard I've tried....

OK, there, the things that I wanted to post before, but didn't....
