Cool Flash Game - Crimson Room

A cool little flash game, that has me stumped I must admit..

The object is to get out of the room etc..

Put the pwr cord in the CD player, turn it on, and get a key out of the CD tray.

The memo has the website http://takagism.fasco-cs.com/yellow_chamber.html on it. That site gives you the numbers 4172, but I'm not sure what to do with those numbers.

Haha. My bad

I agree, I can't get out of the room myself, but it must be possible I'm guessing.. ha

Figured the power of otter could crack it for me.

A walkthrough for anyone interested. A lot of it is luck, clicking on the certain blank areas of the screen.

Wow, that is impossible without the walkthrough pretty much. Thx.

I had to cheat a little...

There is no way I would have figured out to do some of those things:

Spoiler:

Open and shut the curtain repeatedly? Finding that metal bar and second battery? Come on! I somehow lucked out under the dresser before looking at the walk-through.

I guess... but it still has to be a number the game recognizes. I guess it gives you a random, predetermined number every time.

Booyah! I beat it with no cheating. Go me!

Spoiler:
There's a very limited number of screens, so when I couldn't find the second battery and the metal bar by conventional means, I resorted to clicking frantically around every screen, and that did the trick.

So you figured out to click on the curtain several times to get the ring to drop, and to click several times on the blank area of the wall to get the safe to open? I would never have thought of that- I assume if you click somewhere one time and it doesn't react there's nothing there.

I think you have to be really lucky for that strategy to work. Most random clicks will turn your perspective. There are a whole lot of "wrong" places to click that'll turn you around in the room. I couldn't handle all the spinning around, so I cheated... just a little though.

Awesome room, and slightly creepy. I beat the crimson room without cheating, but it was frustrating. I'm going to try to beat this one too. I need some time to kill before a meeting today.

Everything that did anything (Pillow, Drawers, CD Player, Curtain) I made sure to click on several times just to be sure.

That was a good one, although quite a bit easier (except for the phone number, which I never would have figured out).
