The foxes in my yard are back..

Some might remember last year when I posted photos of the foxes that live in the woods behind my house. They lived in a den about 10' into the woods, and would often come out to sleep in our yard, have a snack, etc. They had a litter of babies so at times we had 7 foxes running around!

The winter came and we hardly saw them at all. They'd just run through rhw snow back to their den. When we did we'd toss them a hot dog or two just to make a sure they had enough food.

This spring one of the grown up "babies" came back with her own litter of babies! The "grandparents" still come by once in a great while.

Here's a couple quick photos:

And as a special bonus for viewing this thread..I present a picture of "Stumpy" the chipmunk..

Foxes are good luck. At least, if they aren't they ought to be. Lovely animals.

I've actually touched the "grandmother" a few times....probably not the smartest thing but its fun.

If you toss her a hot dog, she'll come right up to you, take it, and then run like hell.

I suggest wearing tighty whiteys with those loose shorts next time you're outside.

We've actually got a few foxes in our area as well. I've got some pictures, but I am not sure where they are now.

Nice pics. The only "wildlife" we have are bunnies and squirrels. And stupid birds. But baby bunnies are hella-cute. And they eat weeds.
