Why do happy people flip you off just like mad people? (pics)

I was watching a music video of X today and there's a segment where the guitarist shows pix he took of fans at concert. In almost every shot there are happy people flipping him off.

Why is that?

Some other happy people:

I'll just link these:

Maybe they're only happy on the outside, and on the inside they're really sad.

But do any of you flip people off in a happy manner? I've never done that and would like to understand the psychology of the action.

I don't have any idea. Maybe they just think it's cute? Whenever I see it I just mentally file that person on my "ignore this moran" list.

The cameraman was riding around on a van with "Show us your finger" on the side of it.

The video is a parody of the "Show us your guns" film, which is a parody of the "show us your tits!" film. (which was the prototype for "Girls gone wild")

"It's a joke, son!"

I've never understood it. I would have a lot of cool pictures, but some dipshit in them is always flipping the bird. I see it a lot at concerts, which seems kind of dumb. I could understand it at, say, a punk show, and an effigy of Bush comes onstage. Otherwise, I don't know.

I don't do it. Eminem will do it until the day he dies.

I actually can't remember the last time I flipped somebody off - I think it's just a childish thing lots of people either outgrow or embrace.....

This looked like a plastic action figure to me. A happy plastic action figure though.

Maybe because they don't like their picture taken?

As for the pizza face guy in the red shirt ... lay off the sugary Pepsi, dude, and watch your acne go bye-bye..

Come across the website for starters, and then not only see our picture of Nick giving "da finger" but also posting it on a thread regarding the finger online. It's a shock to see our old stuff elsewhere on the web is all.

Thanks

I can - last night. Some fucktard put abotu 75% of his SUV out in the right-hand lane, while waiting to make a right on red. Luckily there was no one in the left lane next to me, or I would have hit one or both of them.
