Tell the truth! How long can you keep it up?

I feel good most all the time, but over the years I've learned that those good moods & great feelings can come and go in a heartbeat, and if your not careful (and guard your thoughts), you can hear or see something (after a week of tryin' to ignore the Bullcorn of life and rise above it) and allow it to knock you off your UPTOWN HAPPY PARK PLACE, and you'll be back to shovelin' the shats on DOWNTOWN BITTER MAIN STREET before you can say WHAT THE...

How long do your Good Moods last?

Are you easily P.O.ed?

-Paul

I can keep "contented" going for weeks at a time. "Perky" usually only lasts until I wake up the rest of the way.

It depends on what you mean by keep it up, because I can keep something like this going for hours and hours without stopping, except for if I'm thirsty, and then I'll go get me something to drink, and then I'm right back into it, talking and talking and talking like there's no tomorrow, like this one time when someone asked me something about something I felt really strongly about, and I told them exactly my thoughts and feelings about the whole subject, again only pausing to maybe get a drink, and I think maybe to breathe in some oxygen, but I kept on going and going until their head exploded, and pieces of brain and skull got all over the place, so I called 911 and told them the whole story of how everything went down with my storytelling and the person I was talking to weeping and begging me to stop right before their head exploded, and the policemen came and I told them the story all over again, and while I was talking they slipped this jacket on me with really long sleeves, and took me to a really nice place with very clean floors and people in white clothes who took very good care of me and always gave me someone to listen to my stories, which seemed to still go on forever and ever, amazing even me, since my life is actually pretty boring and uneventful, but seems to be getting better with medication and the love of all you fine people who always bring the funny and pictures of your family, your pets, your injuries, your Brian Peppers photoshops, and anything else you may want to post here, within the boundaries of what the mods will allow of course, which from what I've seen is pretty leniant, for the most part.....

.....did I happen to mention that I can go for hours and hours like this?

(deep breath, drink)

Sorry...lost my mind for a few minutes there.

I wake up in the morning and I'm a little groggy at first and then I start out on my day with a pretty happy mood. I have a few laughs and then I'll be damned if someone doesn't usually piss me off before the end of my day. I then go to bed to try again tomorrow.

Translation for THEEK:

Are you talking to me? What's this about eBay and evil bidding? Does that involve sniping or shilling?

Well then, try to explain what you do with yourself on street cleaning days.

I've always assumed I'm pessimistic, not at all upbeat. However I was recently on vacation & was incredibly upbeat (maybe annoyingly so for my roommate) for an entire weekend. So maybe if I was permanently on a vacation I'd be a funner person. Oh yeah did I mention the weekend involved some drinking? lol Okay there really wasn't a lot of that. Normally if I really try I might be able to be upbeat for a couple of hours.
