Has anybody ever been to Portillo, Chile?

if so, how much would a week there cost overall? airfare, meals, lodging, lift tickets, etc?

I'd love to be able to take a break from the hot, humid summers and ski the Andes.

If I had to guess...

$700 for airfare
$40 / day for food in nice restaurants = $280
$10 / day for a couple of taxi rides (to and from wherever) = $70
Figure lift tickets as being what a cheap to decent ski slope would cost here.

Really though, it depends on where you plan on eating, if you want to stay in the nicest hotel or in a local place, etc. Your best bet would be to just ask a travel agent, then use their price as a last resort. Your best bet would be to find a local travel agent in Chili to make the arrangements, but I have no idea on how to find one that you can trust.
