Aside from fatasses, of course.

I can't stand litterers. Saw a car full of 4 little black dudes today all throwing wads of paper at each other in the car, and of course some "wads" went out the window, and they thought it was the funniest thing in the world.

I've never personally seen one fined, but a friend of a friend was fined $500 for throwing a cigarette out of her car in Georgia. I love it!

Smokers are the worst.
The cellphane wrapper off a new pack goes right out the car window.
The butt goes out the window.
And finally the empty pack gets tossed out the window.

Then the whole cycle repeats.

I agree Phil. Also bad -- fastfood "restaurants" --- McDonalds' burger wrappers, french fry boxes, ketchup packets, salt packets, straw wrappers, straws, cups.

What really gets me is I saw an article in the current National Geographic about the Chesapeake Bay and a river there is like PURE trash. I just keep thinking "what the FUCK is wrong with people!?"

People just don't care I think - and that's a problem.

Not to mention, their second-hand smoke gets exhaled into our air

Let me second that with the first "man you're really uptight who cares about litter" post post.

Actually what's funny (or not really funny actually) is that it really does.
If I'm on my motorcycle and behind a guy in a car smoking it goes right into my face.

Don't forget about convenience stores. My brother used to live about half a block down from one.
He always remarked how his house was located at the exact walking distance and exact amount of time where a person would finish their soda, bag of chips, candy bar, ice cream bar, or scratch off lottery ticket. All those items would then get deposited on his lawn.

The city just put public trash cans on three of the four corners near my apartment (why not all four, I wonder). Within a day they were all filled with household trash, but the litter was still strewn about.

I never see anyone litter, either, except in the subway. That's especially dangerous as it causes track fires.

Littering is a sign of disregard of your surroundings. Being lazy does have a little to do with it though.

You know what I miss that they had out in CA? Trash cans next to the community mailboxes for all the junk mail.

Quick shoutout to all the truckers and motorists who leave bags, cans, bottles, etc on my street, especially the ones who leave bottles and plastic bags filled with their piss on the sidewalk I have to walk down everyday. I know sometimes it's hard to find a place to pull over and use the restroom when you're on the road and I just wanted you to know that the brick I throw through your window if I ever catch you doing this will be because I feel you should slow down and enjoy life some more.

They should make it so you have to checkout a cart when you shop, and supply a credit card number. Then, if your cart is found on the lot and was not returned, they charge you $1.

I hate to see people, in general, those of all races throw things out of their cars. Makes me see red. I don't know if it's laziness or they don't want their cars being littered for a second until they can get to a proper garbage can.

I remember some grocery stores used to have little locking devices on their carts that would not disengage unless you put a quarter in. You'd get the quarter back when you relocked it at the cart storage area. I guess it never caught on because losing 25 cents is not much of a deterrent.
