I'm doing the Ultimate New York Body Plan (David Kirsch) Anyone tried it?

This book is all about incinerating fat and sexifying my body!!!!

In just two weeks I'll be getting looks from all the hotties at the pool.

Oh yeah.

I saw this at the library and decided to try it out. I've been bad about staying in shape the last few years. I blame DVD Talk.

So I thought his program might motivate me. I did the test and found I wasn't ready for the program. Did the pre-program workout for a few weeks and started the two week deal Monday.

I've hardly been sore at all and was surprised. Many of the people that comment on Amazon say how sore they are for days.

The diet is restricted quite a bit and low in calories but it hasn't been bad at all.

The workout is 45 minutes and then another 45 minutes of an aerobic activity. Some days the workout is 15 minutes plus the 45 min. cardio.

He's all about sculpting lean muscle etc. so I may get back to more weights once I've lost some weight. He has some famous clients such as Heidi Klum and it mentioned he was on Total Body Makeover at some point.

So anyone tried this or his previous book, Sound Mind, Sound Body?

I think more women do it than men but what the hell. I'm sexifying!

I guess I'm a pioneer on this one!

Thanks for all your support!

Time to eat some seared tuna w/sesame seeds and dijon mustard w/a side of aspragus.

How can you trust a guy who wears tight shirts all of the time? Seriously, how good can his advice be?

Good luck, Bu.

kvrdave:

Don't you want to skip the regular exercise too? Just to be safe and all.

I read the title of the thread several times before realizing this thread is not about the David Koresh diet... which also helps people lose weight... permanently.

Damn you. I had two beers tonight. Not acceptable!

A friend asked me to partake in the Dick Dale concert and since I'm a Dickhead I couldn't say no.

I've been perfect the rest of the first five days. I think I'll add another day for this indiscretion.

Didn't mean to keep everyone in the dark as I know you're all wondering how it went.

I lost 10 pounds in the two weeks. Now I exercise less and eat with less restrictions. Another 10 pounds or so and I'm set.

I expected to be really sore but I never was and the food was good. I actually have improved my cooking skills quite a bit.

I noticed a big difference in my upper body-just need to lose the extra pounds in my midsection.
