Anyone have an ING Direct savings account?
I'm thinking about setting one up. It has a 3% interest rate, and I get 25 bucks for signing up.
Anyone have any experience with them?

I have a 401k and money purchase plan through work with ING and have been very pleased thus far. Great website, easy to use. I actually re-allocated funds all by myself! Charles Schwab look out!

I've had one for years and experienced no issues. Apparently a competitor, Emigrant Direct, is offering 3.25% interest. I didn't like their interface nearly as much, though, so I stuck with ING.
If you want to open an ING account, you can get a $50 bonus. Search Fatwallet for details.

I can't find the info on the 50 dollar bonus. I was told that if I sign up, I get 25 bucks (my friend told me this). Does everyone get a 50 dollar bonus? I looked on Fatwallet (my first time using that site), but didn't find anything.

Another vote for ING Direct. I love the service, interest rate is okay, I am actually inclined to save money. Easy to use and everything.
If you can, get someone to refer you, so they can get $10 by you signing up.
I'll refer you! Email me

Go for it. The 3% on their money market account beats my credit union's by 2.5%. You don't get checks with this account. You have to transfer electronically to and from your checking account. I've never had a problem transferring money within a business day or two in the 3+ years I've had the account.

fine print says: "Limit one bonus per order number"
im assuming that order number listed above has already been used.

Signed up on Tuesday and got my $50 credit today. Now I just have to convice the wife that it's a legitamate place to have a savings account. I'm sick of Bank of America saying I'm doing too many transfers between my checking and savings account.

Quick question for anybody with Emigrant -- have you withdrawn any money from the account? I know I can deposit money with no problems, but what is the withdrawl procedure like?
