The most unbelievably frustrating/addicting game ever

If this has been posted, I apologize and you can delete this if you want. I just did a search for "game", "puzzle", "brain teaser" and even "pron" and didn't see anything about it.

http://www.deathball.net/notpron/

Those who get hooked will most likely murder me. And some will quit after getting stuck on level 2 for a minute. I envy the latter. I just spent the past 5+ hours trying to wade though this and I'm only on level 10.

I started this earlier this year and got to about level 11 where my brain started to die.

Frustrating? yes
Addicting? no

I got to level 4 and have no desire to continue.

I got stuck at level 6.....I just do not understand what they are asking for.
It seems like you have to understand the intricacies of a computer to complete these puzzles.

Plus, the second screen seemed too random for me. I was just screwing around and got lucky somehow. Random.

What I don't get is how someone can be a member for 5 years and still not know how to delete your own threads. Nothing personal, Trelach, I see "you can delete this if you want. " all the time. Just find it funny.

I got Level 7 here pretty quickly, but I'm not sure I find it interesting or addicting.

Hard to be addicted to something I don't understand.

Read the hint:
Try all (except cheating) to get to the next screen, no matter what. It's no point and click thing!
Once you understand that hint, the first group of levels is pretty easy.

Got to level 7 and quit. Some of the hints were unnecessary. (level 4):
Spoiler:
I photoshopped one of the pictures to try to look in the dark (hint said programs?) but you could see what you needed without a program--so I spent a lot of time looking for something that wasn't there. The morse code thing was my first inclination, but that seemed too obvious, hence the wasted time on photoshop.

Yeah I got to level 6 and I think I need to know something about coding or computers...

could someone give me a hint.

I found the hidden numbers... and I think I have to convert them to letters... but what to use I have no idea.

Thanks
------------------------

Edit: I got to level 7 and think I will quit.... I learned about ASCII today... so time well spent :P

Some of the puzzles are interesting, but as I got further into it I found I was not getting the riddles for very stupid reasons. Some have so many red herrings that you're just pissed at the riddle maker for such a cheap tactic. In most of the puzzles I was undone by the fact that I was looking TOO hard into the clues. And by Level 14 it got to such an idiotic point where you have to be on such a specific line of thinking with the riddle maker that it's no longer about using logic and deduction.

There's actually more than one way to do it. After quitting, I saw a walkthrough, and I didn't do it the way they said to.
