Do you have nicknames for your kids?

This, of course, assumes you have some, but if you don't, did your parents call you by a nickname rather than your given name?

My son Riker has always been called "Buddy" by me. I only call him "Riker" when I need to get his attention.

My son Tyler has always been called "Goober" or "The Goob". On occasion someone will call him "Buddy" and he will correct them, to let them know that he is "Goober".

My wife calls Riker "Buddy" and so does The Goob, but otherwise, most people don't. No one seems to call Tyler "Goober" except me.

But then, I rarely call my wife by her name, either.

You?

My wife calls my daughter "Kiddo." This was before she saw Kill Bill.

We sometimes call our daughter "Boo," but it usually when you're talking about her and not too her.

Shithead and Retard......... but those are our cats.

Our first kid is on the way and since my wife was reading a description of the embyos size, I've been referring to him/her as Speck.

I don't have kids and doubt I would call them by nicknames.....unless I couldn't remember the name I gave them. Maybe something like "jackass" or "stupid-face" or something, but not "Scooter" or "Lemon-bone" or shit like that.

I (we) referred to our son as Cletus (the Fetus) before he was born.

Right now, at 4 months, I call him Chipmunk, because he has huge cheeks.

we called our son Peanut at first, because on his first ultrasound, he looked like a little peanut.
Now we call him buddy, little man, guy, Babybutt, cutiepants, sillypants, sillyhead; not sure where he picked this up, but he's started referring to himself as "Mr. [name]" a little while ago.

My oldest child gets called "Bug" a lot, don't know why. My toddler gets called Sir Poops-a-Lot, Stinker butt, and other "poop" related type names. Usually though, I just call them by their names, unless I really need to get their attention then it's the first and middle name yelled very loudly.

Lots of nicknames. Lexx, Lexy-Poo, Little One, Little Peoples, Baby-Lady, just to name a few. But I still call her mostly by her given name.
