My rabbit ate one of the buttons off my TiVo remote once. It was still usable, though, and I bought a new TiVo before I got around to buying a new remote.

Why not get a good universal remote that will command all your electronic units for about $100. The MX-500 is freaking sweet.

I think you can even find the MX500 for around $80 now that newer models have come out.

If you're wanting a Tivo peanut remote I'd go eBay if it was me.

if you have it set up, remember that you can program your tivo over the internet to record shows. that is... if you're looking for a solution. how you'll get them to play is another story.

I'll second that! Even my wife finds it very easy to use.

Yeah. Then when your dog eats it, you'll be out $100 instead of $30!

Just wait awhile, I am sure the dog will pass the remote eventually.
