Ever spend the whole day in bed?

Do you ever stay in bed ALL DAY???

Good Lord!

We NEVER sleep past like 8 in the morning usually (even on weekends) and it's not like we went to bed late last night or something like that (around 12:30 am). We both woke up feeling as though we were drugged!

What's up with that? Is it just old age?

(Heck! I'm 48 & Treesa's 39...where's classicman when ya need him?)

We stayed in ALL weekend. That means we're gonna have to shop and spend TWICE as much money next weekend! &

(I'm think I'm havin' DVD withdrawls...)

Ever woke up feeling as though you were sedated?

My friends and I did that during Mardi Gras. We'd stay out until 5 or so in the morning, and then sleep until 2 or 3pm. Good times.

Yeah, I've done that...but when I do I usually end up going to bed between 5am-10am. (Damn after hours bars closing at 9am) I also blame the indian casinos, but I've been in the black every time I've gone...and have yet to be sober playing.

Are ya sure you were just sleeping all that time? There wasn't any hanky-panky going on?? If not, see a doctor immediately.

i routinely go unconscious for hours at a time. in fact, when i dont have anything to do or people to see, i will lay in bed all day long, floating in and out of sleep. the longest being "normal" time i did it was about 24 hrs. other times, from depression, being tired from playing sports, working (on call and up all night), or just being run down, i have managed to stay asleep for almost 40 hrs. i have this incredibel nack for sleeping, i guess. and i dont feel even the slightest bit guilty for staying in bed all day and not doing a damn_thing productive.

I got up at 2:30 pm today...but didn't get to sleep until after 6am. and not for any reason so glamorous as an after hours bar or sex party: my daughter couldn't sleep (we're in the midst of a new sleeping arrangement transition) and since i'm the work at home dad, i get night shift when it's needed. probably repeat the same tonight, but i hope not, I want to go see a matinee of hotel Rwanda tomorrow before picking her up from school

I work in construction sites and after a 13 months project in Kalimantan Borneo, I had 2 days of leave and then get ready to go to Myanmar.I came back to Malaysia and I was up with family and freinds and both days I been patying until 4 am.The second day I took a flight to Bangkok at 7 am from Penang.Landed around 11 am,checked in the hotel had some lunch, took care of the visa to Myanmar and got back to the hotel and thought of visiting the local market or night life for dinner time at 7 pm after a little nap at 2 pm .I did wake up around 6.20pm but it was already 1 day later and I been sleeping for 28 hours!

A few years ago when I was living in Japan, I got back from a vacation dog tired. It was 3 in the afternoon when I finally got back to my apartment. I thought I'd take a little nap. Woke up and looked at the clock, which said 6:00, thought I had taken a nice 3 hour nap. Got dressed and started to walk to the supermarket and noticed how quiet the streets were. Realized then it was 6:00 am the next day rather than pm.

Did you sleep straight through or get up and not look at the clock before you went back to bed?

I've recently become unemployed, and am sleeping far too late, far too often.

Ah well, this is for all the times at work I wished I was at home in bed playing hookey!

I slept 'till 1 yesterday. That was the latest I've slept in a long, long time. Though going to bed at 5 probably had a say in the matter.

I get to pretty much work to my own schedule, so don't tend to rise before 11am. But having said that, I only like to get about 6 hours per night. Who wants to waste their life sleeping?
