Is the postal service running today/and Monday?

I know these dates are holidays for schools (at least in this area)...Is the postal service running on those dates? I went to the postal service website, but couldn't find anything.

No mail delivery on Monday means I actually get a rare TWO day weekend!

Of course, it's always total HELL the day after a Monday holiday. Three days worth of mail to deliver on Tuesday...

It says on the USPS site that there is a national holiday on January 17 to mark Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday. What a bummer - he never got any cards delivered on his birthday

I never get any cards delivered on my birthday either.

And it's not even a holiday.

On top of that; My birthday is Sunday, I expect no cards in the mail that day. I am expecting to win the Ohio lottery the following week, however.

If you _really_ want a birthday card delivered on Sunday, have a loved one send you one via Express Mail. We deliver Express Mail on Sundays. I even delivered Express Mail on Christmas Day.
