I don't think I've lived in any one residence for more than 5 years my whole life (my dad was in the Air Force when I was growing up). I've lived in my current house for about 18 months.

Up until 2 weeks ago, I was at my previous residence for 28 years (minus 5 years for school).

Nowhere near 25, a mere 6 years.
But I do have about 50% equity in my home.

I bought a place last May, so not very long. I am the youngest person in the complex by about 5-10 years. Everyone is mid thirties and professional. I get a lot of strange looks for owning a home in such an expensive area.

I think I won with 30 years in the same house. Does living with mom and dad count?

I don't have people beat here, but I've been living in the same place for 8 years now. It sure does not seem that long. Amazing how fast time flies by .
