I want to buy a new hardcore wrist watch

I'm currently in the market for a new watch. I'm leaning towards these.

http://www.watchesgiant.com/casotrsepato1.html
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/casiowat...pabltipr1.html

I need a watch that tells temp, altitude, barometric pressure and direction (N,E,S,W.)

At the moment, only casio sells watches with those features.

Any recommendations?

Browsing around I see this monster

Have you checked out Suunto?

Casio isn't the ONLY one that sells watches with those features. Suunto even calls their watches "wristop computers".

Check out the X9. You also get a GPS too. A bit out of the price range for many people but it's so much better looking.

Of course, there are many other models that fit your bill for much less.

[snob]Casio is ... well, Casio.[/snob]

Suunto is a whole new ball game.

Those Sunntos look pretty nice. The Vector model seems to do all you're asking for. Though the Casios you linked to don't look bad either. At first I expected them to look like the one pictured in the post.

Why do you need a $100 dog bowl?
Sorry, but you were the last person I expected to ask that question.

I used to have one very similar to this. My main problem with it was that I have skinny wrists (I'm not hardcore). It just looked weird sitting on my arm. Also - the temp/altimeter/barometer were not particularly accurate.

Shouldn't this thread be moved to the Mature forum?

Yes you were. You asked him why he needed all that stuff on there, and he told you.
