I keep it in my front right, what's wrong with that? When the weather dictates I wear a coat (which is about 80% of the time) I keep it in my inside coat pocket. I'm always paranoid that one of these days when I reach in there to pull it out, the 7-11 clerk will think I'm going for a gun and blow my head off.

Front right. It makes it harder for someone to filch, so they can't sneak up from behind.

Generally in my coat pocket, but otherwise front right. I used to keep in the back right, until I got ass nerve damage. Hurts like hell (constant dull ache) if I put it back there anymore, so I made the switch.

I'm always worried about the same thing as if they think I am reaching for a gun from the small of my back. God we are paranoid, huh? I guess I kind of do look like a shady Puerto Rican.

Usually front left, since keys go in front right.

If I'm wearing a coat tho, it goes into the inside pocket on the left.

I think a good follow up question would be: who also compusively checks if it's still there while in crowded public places?

:raises hand:

Front Left:
Cell Phone

Front Right:
Wallet
Car Keys

I made the mistake of keeping my keys and cell phone in the same pocket...ending up with a scratched cell phone.

was a back right man for years and years until last summer when I suddenly developed some back problems and borderline sciatica - quit carrying my wallet back there and the problem went away almost completely within days. the chiropractor I saw concurred that it's a terrible strain on your lower back and pelvis to have a wallet keeping you off kilter. so now I where pants with side pockets most of the time and keep it there...just feels wrong in the front. in the summer all my shorts have cargo pockets so same goes for then too. it's hard now when i wear jeans though. i just can't wear it back there anymore....
