So whose up for a Chantico™?

Just curious to see what type of response the Otter Farm has to Starbucks new Chantico™.

I had one a couple of weeks back and I liked it, but I can't see drinking it on a regular basis (like coffee, espresso, etc.). It think it would be a nice "dessert" or hot chocolate substitute. Also, it's definitely a sipping drink.

Anyway . . . thoughts?

Wasn't this the 1100 calorie drink or something?

I like DQs MOOLatte, personally. Not a big "hot liquid" fan.

No, it's about 365 calories for a 6 ounce serving. A few people have come into my store and bought 16 and 20 ounce ones, which is completely ridiculous. One person even put whipped cream and caramel on top.

For the record I hate this shit with a passion. It's incredibly annoying to prepare as well because you have to steam the chocolate and then the steam wands get all nasty and what not from it.

I had one a couple weeks ago and thought it was good. Very rich and thick (for me at least) and probably something i'd have on an occasional basis.

With interest rates climbing I don't think I'd want to take on any more debt to buy one of these thing.

The 16oz one would be 1000 calories. Yikes!
