Treesa & I have been together so long (and for one reason or another) we don't always kiss goodnight, but we ALWAYS kiss goodbye...like for instance, if I'm dropping her off somewhere or whatnot.

THEEK!

Yes.............my wife forces me to perform the goodbye kiss.....

As for bed time, I'd better be getting more than the kissy-kissy.....

Mine haven't slept on the same floor of their house in over a decade. As you might imagine, the goodnight kisses are infrequent.

It amazes me that I was even conceived.

Whenever I log off DVDTalk, I make sure to pull up the profile of all my favorite members and give them all some individual kissy-kissy.

Not always before bed, but usually before we leave the house or something.

It's not so much goodnight and goodbye as it is goodmorning or welcome home.

Then again, they're dogs, and they're stronger than I am. It's kinda like date rape.

Who and I kiss goodbye when she leaves the car, I leave the house, or we go to bed, as well as for a host of other reasons.

Everytime I pucker up for a kiss, CM looks at me blankly and says, "what you want?"

Well, I'm willing to bet there are literally tons of single guys on DVDTalk who would gladly pick up CM's slack.

my bf and i kiss hello and goodbye every time we see eachother. then again, its a hispanic thing and we did it when we first met as well as before we started dating. as for the goodnight, no, not usually and perfunctory kiss goodnight but usually one of us is cuddling the other and ends up kissing them.

If it's a first date, I only kiss her on the cheek. (The one on her face of course. )

This custom caught me a little off guard when I was in Ecuador (luckily, someone told me about it beforehand, so I was ready for it and didn't look like a complete gringo), but once I got used to it, I thought it was a pretty cool way of greeting people. It certainly made people seem more friendly.

The most interesting part of the whole experience was that, after I came back to the States (after only a couple of weeks), it actually seemed odd to just shake hands, give a hug, etc. when greeting someone.

We don't kiss good night every night, but we do say "good night, I love you". We normally kiss when he is leaving for work, but not if I go to see him at work then leave. When you are in uniform you aren't supposed to show public displays of affection, so that limits our kiss time during duty hours (unless we are at home).

i know--it is weird for me, too. when i leave my family's house, i just say godbye. when i leave his family's house, everyone gets a kiss so it always seems awkward when i leave my house and so empty. its funny--i have a few white friends that are pretty used to the hispanic culture as well so we always hug and kiss hello and goodbye, too. people tend to give us strange looks and on several occasions, they have asked if we were gay, which i thought was

I think we need to head a push to import the custom into US culture.
