Resume question: performance review information on resume?

For those of you in the corporate world - do you add your performance review rating to your resume? (Ie: Rated 5/5 on company wide rating scale)

I don't think this is the norm as I haven't seen it on any candidate resume's I've interviewed, however, I'm thinking of adding this to my resume when applying for internal positions.

Thoughts?

I would never add this type of info to my resume.

Did you perhaps get an award that you can put on your resume, that might be a little more tactful.

I wouldn't put it on my resume either, but for internal positions it might make sense. Depends on how much value the company puts on those stupid reviews. Usually the managers filling them out could give a rat's ass.

What Roto said. If everyone gets 5/5 and you put that on your resume like it's some huge unique achievement, you look clueless and that would probably drop your chances of getting the job. Awards look better, esp. if you include a brief narrative about what you did that got you the award.

I've never heard of a performance review, so I would say 'no' - besides, it just sounds like some worker evaluation thing and for all I know you were tight with your manager and you two would always smoke blunts together and he probably reviewed you when he was baked.

I only put awards and recognition on my resume. What does that performance review mean to someone outside of your immediate management team?

all good points thank you. - I won't be adding this information on internal positions. I would never think of adding this to external positions
