Ziano Bros. wax/polish results

Well, I went ahead and bought the Ziano Bros. kit. It put a nice finish on my car but I don't feel it was really worth the extra money. I might change my mind tomorrow when the sun is out since it was getting dark by the time I finished.

Here's the only picture I took. I took a before picture also, but forgot to turn off the incandesent white balance so it didn't turn out at all (all blue).

Well, that's what happens when you use a knock off product.

You should have ordered from Zaino, not these "Ziano" folks...

Did you start with the Z-18?

Yeah, did the Z-18. Not entirely conviced it was worth it either. It didn't seem any smoother when I was done than before I started with it.

What's z18? I've always gone with the traditional z1, z2, z6 approach.

That seems unlikely to me... How old is this car/paintjob? Every time I have used the Z-18 (with water dripping on it the whole time, and rotating fresh clay) there is a noticable smoothness just after that step. As a matter of fact, that is when you know it is time to move to the next patch, when the clay bar no longer hits any "snags" when rubbing across the car.

Link to z-18, for those who asked:

Its only 1 month old. It really only caught on the trunk lid. Everything else was smooth.

Here's mine after it's first coat last May. Since then I've put about 20-25 applications of z2 and z5

No recent pics though. I've been using Zaino since 99. It's all I will ever use. Easiest stuff ever to put on take off.
