Any interest in a United States, Earth meet?

No really.

The guys here at DVDtalk should get all those sponsors to provide funding to host a DVD convention. It'd rock. DVDs on a big screen all day and all night for two full days. No chick flicks though, cause we don't want a bunch of fat guys in one room crying and searching for hugs. Also, we could invite some stars who aren't really stars but try to act like one. Wil Wheaton comes to mind. Then, we can like ... have SCENE IT! games to win some cheap ass DVDs or something. That would be cool too. C'mon! Make it happen!

So, the people of the United States can meet the people of Earth?

Come to think of it, that's a cool idea.

The First Annual DVDTalk convention? Sounds radical.

Let's have it in Iowa. You can rent big places on the cheap and there isn't a problem with parking.

Mmmm, no. The only reason I'm here is because I'm too lazy to make real life friends.

We already had a national DVDTalk meet in 2002. You didn't go because you're not cool enough.

It was for cool people only. Beat it, nerd!

How about having it at the geographic center of the United States: Lebanon, Kansas?

That sounds kind of boring. How about having it in Beirut, Lebanon? What would that be, Region 2?

I'm up for a national meet as long as it's in my apartment complex's parking lot. That's the farthest I'll travel for you losers!

Incidentally, we should all make a concerted effort to get Wil Wheaton to join the Other forum.

I'm all for Wil Wheaton joining up. How should we go about doing this?

Uh oh. Too many more signatures and it could become a reality.... and I don't think the Otter is prepared for that.

I think there would already be enough guys at a national meet, why do you want to get another one to come?
