It's been raining for 24 hours...

It's been raining quite a bit the past few weeks - today's rain has been non-stop since before I woke up. My garage flooded... I sucked out about 50 gallons with a wet/dry vac. My gutters were full of leaves and gunk too so I had to clear those out. Bleh. Enough is enough. Hope it's clear skies where you are.

I'm in Indiana as well, kgrogers1979 hit it right on the head. 22 inches of snow last wednesday-thursday, temps at 10 below zero, followed by drizzling rain and warm cloudy skies to help turn all this into the quicksand my front yard has become, as well as the mudhole my driveway is. Forecast stays the same for the next 7 days, too.

I'm about 80 miles south of you Boston George; I have a large ditch (probably 10 feet deep and 12 feet wide) alongside my property that runs two miles down to a river. Most days it's a long-since dry creekbed. For the past 3 days it's looked like an overflowing fully active creek

I'm in Terre Haute, and there is water everywhere here too. I almost need jet skis to get to work.

Well, we get unseasonably warm weather in NYC for the past week, with rain and what really makes it special is that our office has the heat cranked to the "hell" setting, so I feel like Im back in Florida in August...

This is great for Arizona, although not for Phoenix. The rain has no where to go so the place floods like a mo-fo. The rain around the rest of the state is good, b/c there are getting dumped on w/ snow.

Sunrise ski park has had 2 feet of new snow since Sunday. Snowbowl has had over 2 feet of snow since yesterday morning. According to the weather information, it is going to snow in Northern and Eastern Arizona almost every day this week and almost every day next week.

kgrogers1979- I'm in Terre Haute too! I was also born in 1979 (assuming you chose that because it was you birth year). DVDTalk- it's a small world.

On the subject of rain, I'm tired of it too. There is mud everywhere! I've had to spray my car off a couple of times because it got stuck.

We need more rain in San Franfrisko. Sidewalks in the downtown area still have the lingering smell of urine and fecal matter still stuck on the asphalt.

It's nothing but clear, blue skies out there today. Of course it's VERY cold and windy and we're supposed to get snow this weekend (yeah, right!).

I'd rather have the rain than clear and ice cold. brrr

I'm so glad we're getting rain. Especially for more than a day. Usually when it rains here it is for about 6 hours and then we're done for 2 months.

We have a ice warning tonight in North and Central Missouri. Maybe up to .50/.75 inch of ice.

I'm so happy to be on vacation and not driving a truck this week.

Still raining - looks like at least 48 hours continuous. We also had our first hail of the year here in downtown scottsdale... I bet it snows in scottsdale this year (always a bizarre occurence)

Also had a general tornado warning tonight in Phoenix. That's always rare.
