Hunts or Heinz Catsup/Ketchup: Which do you prefer?

I was thinking about this today while at Dairy Queen. They use Hunts Catsup which I think is tangy and to me personally I do not like. I've always loved Heinz Ketchup. Especially the bottles that restaurants serve. I swear there is something different with those bottles in restaurants. It always seems to taste better. Maybe it's the glass vs. plastic debate...I dunno.

Anyways who prefers what?

I prefer Heinz but have come to adjust to any since I am often poor. Hell, store brand sometimes has to do.

Heinz.

I remember reading years ago that people preferred the taste because it had a higher sugar content.

either one. I work in a restaurant and I can tell you we have heinz bottles on the tables but they are not really heinz. We refill them with a cheaper ketchup to save money. Most people do not know the difference anyway.

I think it's Heinz. Whatever comes in the little packets at burger places. They tend to be nice and salty.

ketchup is ketchup
there is, or possibly was not sure if it's still there, a ketchup bottling place in Fredonia NY. One day the labels would be one brand, the next day another brand's labels. I think they did other condiments too with the same different lables thing

I can taste the differance. One is more yuky and the other has a slight tangy taste. I like the tangy and fresh taste over the yuky one. Hienz tastes better.

I can easily tell when Heinz bottles are not filled with Heinz. I agree, however, that most people probably don't notice.

El Paso Chile Company- Cowboy Catsup

Rope your burgers and fries and slather on some of this jalapeno catsup. Onions, hot peppers and garlic add a kick to the tradition of catsup in a spicy, Southwestern style. 12 oz.

Ingredients: Tomato catsup (tomato concentrate made from red ripe tomatoes, distilled vinegar, high fructose corn syrup, salt, onion powder, spice, natural flavorings), water, tomato paste, red and green bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, onions, garlic, spices.

Ketchup is ok and all but I have other sauces that I prefer.

Franks or Tapatio are very yummy, especially when mixed with bleu cheese dressing. Beats ketchup on just about everything.

Im going to have to go with Heinz. I always buy cheap store generic brands with the exception of ketchup. I, like others have said, can also tell when a restaurant fills their bottles with something other than it.
