My wife just had all four of her wisdom teeth pulled on monday. I'm glad I don't have to go through that all over again. The worst part of teeth pulling is the noise. The pain I can kinda handle, but not the noise.

I've had a couple of teeth pulled and I feel for you. Make sure you do exactly what they told you in terms of care for the hole; you don't want a dry socket.

I actually enjoyed the sounds my wisdom teeth made as they were yanked from my mouth. I had a half hour of nitro and 9 shots of novocain though. I was tripping out pretty good listening to some good music at the same time.

I had to have a tooth pulled just before getting braces when I was 15. I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst pain I've ever experienced. It took me 10 years to gather the courage to have my wisdom teeth pulled after that... which actually turned about to be no big deal. But I can relate.
