So, I got my first gray hairs

I truly feel this deserves a thread of its own.

I just got my hair cut today. This afternoon, after getting out of the shower, I was examining the cut (you can never tell if your hair was cut right until after the first time you wash it) and I discovered 3 gray hairs on my right temple and 2 gray hairs on my left. I'll be 36 in two and half weeks.

I'm not too distressed; I'm hoping to cultivate a cool Marvel superhero hair style:

I am desperately afraid it will turn out more like Paulie from The Sopranos:

I had 3 strands of grey hair at 15.

I'm 28 now and you can see it almost everywhere. I think I'll be fully grey by the time I hit 40.

"Ouch" Reminds me of the opening scene in "Vanilla Sky" with Tom Cruise.

My hair couldn't take the stigma of going grey, so they jumped.

I'm 24 and have more than 3 gray hairs. I noticed the first couple grey hairs when I was 20. My family goes gray early. We don't lose our hair... it just turns completely gray before we are 35

I don't have grey hairs yet, but when I get them I'd be a bit upset as well.

Were did it start? I'm hoping that since they are only at my temples I can get that cool Dr. Strange look.

Heh, heh... I just noticed I spelled that wrong. Misspelling a word in the title is a bit embarrassing.

I think it can be spelled both ways. I can't think of any other words with that stupid exception though.

It actually started at the front right in the middle and then on the sides. I've had some gray hairs since my teens, but it isn't unusual to have 1 or two stray gray hairs for a long time before anything else turns gray.

I've been finding gray hairs growing on my head since I was like 12 years old. My mother had a skunk stripe of gray since she was in college so she dyed it black - she dyed her hair the entire time I knew her.
