He probably means the raised portions which are "sculpted" to make it look like an actual rack of ribs rather than a totally flat slab of mystery meat.

Oh they still look like that. In fact if you buy bbq rib sandwich patties at the grocery store they look like that.

I just had a McRib for the first time and if McDonalds wasn't 20 miles away I'd eat on almost every day until they are gone.

They are truly...

Much maligned usually on DVDTALK, McDonalds gets a reprieve during McRib month.

I am soooo e-mailing that to my Dad. He's been with McDonalds for almost 40 years now and still manages to find the humor in things like this.

My husband's in Pittsburgh for business and he's already had two McRib sandwiches. And told me how good it is.

And I'm pissed because I know McD's in my neck of Jersey won't have it.

It is a testament to this sandwich that there are 4 pages, 86 posts, and nearly 3,000 viewings.

I had no idea that there were any places left in the world that were 20 miles away from a McDonald's. I figured they had managed to take over every other corner years ago.

I can honestly say I've never eaten a McRib. After all the hullabulloo in this thread I guess I'll have to try one now.

I think I had my last McRib ever the other day. It was somewhat tasty but gave me silly burps and farts.

I think it did last time too but they trick me by leaving so much time in between releases that I think I want one again. I have better things to spend my calories on. I'm leaving this note for my future self to hopefully locate this post the next time they are released.

Search Terms: Thor Simpson McRib Like Silly Fart Eat McDonalds

Self, you can thank me later.

I was driving home today and lo! The McD's sign proclaimed MCRIB IS BACK, so I went in and got one.

Oh man, I saw that sign as well by a McDonald's, but now I can't remember where...augh...gotta check with my local one soon to see if they have it again.

I'm sure this man would disagree with that assessment:

Just had one for dinner. I figure I’ll be tired of them in about a month.

They wouldn't be bad if they were not so mushy and then bite into a chewy cartilage bit ugh...

Never understood the craze for these. Just put BBQ sauce on a burger...
