If he asks her out and she says no, then she'll follow her own path anyway. I don't see the harm in one last try. He doesn't have to stalk her. He can ask her out and if she hems and haws over it instead of just saying yes or no, he can just give her his number and assume that he'll never hear from her.

The sheer boredom of unemployment could change her mind. You should at least give her the option of calling you up some time.

Derrich,

Have NO SHAME when it comes to women. Think of yourself as a telemarketing guru who just won't stop calling. Yes, you will get hangups, but there's always that one chance, that the person will not hang up.
We all just LOVE that telemarketing person. Especially when they call during dinner.

Just do it. You'll never be happy with the fat soccer moms (or women you can compare to fat soccer moms) knowing you could've had the hottie.

at first i thought you said "ask her man out."

Only do it if you feel like wasting her time, and your own.

Seek out that hot booty Derrich.

At worst, you still wind up where you are now...not tapping her premium ass...At best, your tapping a hot piece of ass, even if only temporary...revenge/rebound sex is a beautiful thing - especially if the new toy is better looking than the old one...and you get braggin rights at the water-cooler

Find it and hit it before the other guys in the office beat you to it, now that she aint working there anymore...those that WERE thinking about hitting it but didnt, are definitely making plans for it now that the job isnt on the line anymore.

I would stop eating and not hang up if a known hottie who im trying to hook up with called me

incidentally, i keep telemousketeers on the phone with me while im eating, drinnking, picking/sucking teeth, burpring (along with anyone else who makes the mistake to call during dinner) screw em - make em feel just as uncomfortable for having called during my dinner, by making them have to listen to me eat....

"Hello sir how are you this evening?"
"just fine, having dinner" (talking through mouthful of food)
"Im sorry sir, is this a bad time?"
"Oh NOW you're sorry...maybe you'll take a look at the clock next time before you decide to dial"
"Maybe I can get back to you later."
"No, you can sit here and deal with me now, I dont want you interrupting my TV/Book time later...BUUUUUURRRRP!"
"-click-"

its a beautiful thing to make a telemousketeer hang up on you instead of the other way around....anything I can do to waste their time on an utterly futile phone call that will get them nowhere and lessen their call volume performance - Ive wasted as much as 45 minutes of a callers time.

Call one person or many? Huge difference. I don't want to get it wrong.

I emailed her. I know I know, it's a cop out but I still plan on picking up the phone and calling.

No, no. When it comes to women, think of yourself as a spammer who just won't stop e-mailing. Make sure you give the e-mails titles like "Re: Your details", "NEW! Cialis soft tabs now available" and "Boron cowpunch".

Odd turn of events. The email is wrong, so I go into geek mode and use the magic of the internet to find out her email. In the course of my search, I come across her age, wow, she's 10 years older than me. I didn't know that. Now, I'm all conflicted. And I don't know why. Maybe it's my evil jerk side coming out. THe side that all guys have that stamp an invisible expiration date on women. Nothing has changed, she's still a hottie. But now she's an old hottie. Why does that matter?

D
Is it stalking if during the course of events, I decide that maybe she ain't so great after all?

Um, yes. And it also makes you the typical guy that a lot of women think guys are. But good luck with the stalking.

Ok. So the call has been made and the result......answering machine. Sweet. So I left a message about how it sucks that she got fired and to give me a call and I'd like to take her out blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda.

So now that's done. Kinda exhilirating, actually.

That's what I thought! Kinda threw me for a loop when it came on. So she either A: Just got it recently. or B: Turned it off on that fateful night 9 months ago.
