Chili.

1 giant crockpot full of chili made this morning. Now I just have to wait 8 hours for a little piece of heaven.

There are a gazillion recipes for chili. You make chili by deciding how hot you want it and then looking to see what ingredients you have...but, under no circumstances do you add celery or any neutral substances...otherwise it becomes stew and you might as well put in potatos.

Although a new one to me, I bet it tastes good after resting overnight.

I re-fixed it because god damn that looks nasty.

Call me a nerd, but I'll stick with ollie's chili. It hits the mark right on the bullseye.

Guys, try to spend 5 minutes learning anything about cooking. Celery imparts flavor in sauces and is especially good in meat dishes, chili, beef stew, pot roast, etc...

celery has very little flavour and is especially good in compost.

The chili - kitty can't drink alcholic beverages.

It really is good chili, it's my mom's recipe.

Now I'm going to have to make it this week with some corn bread...oh man, yum.

Yes, corn bread w/chili is great!

When I make a big 'ol pot of chili, I'll be eating it for over a week since I'm making for one. But at least I can make it as hot as I want

Before I got married, I lived with my mom, my sister and my sister's bf. My mom made up this huge pot of chili and we all had a few bowls of it for dinner. Then we decided to go to the pub to throw darts and have a few pints. Well, I don't normally drink because I have a very strange blood thing going on and am unable to metabolize alcohol properly. So after a few bowls of mom's chili and a few pints of ale uh, well, let's just say the vote was unanimous that I sleep in the garage that night. In fact, I'm pretty sure they didn't let me back in the next day, either.

Oh yeah, hot chili is the only way to go otherwise it's just "stew".
