Yes and hopefully my dear hubby will mow it tomorrow before we lose the children in it...

Green and growing very slowly. Mostly mowing leaves, which picks them up and makes them fit in fewer bags.

Yeah. In fact, I'm sitting here right now trying to think up excuses as to why I can't go mow it right now.

Yep. Here in Northern CA, everything is dead in the summer and comes to life in the fall/winter, when it rains.

The grass in my yard is maintained all year long by the M... Landscapers, who come every Tuesday.

Yeah for some reason, I don't know why, but I am quite attached to the little monsters and would be very sad to see them be lost forever in the jungle that is my yard.

I know, it's confusing.

Yes, though growing slower now than a few weeks ago. It will remain green throughout the year.

It's growing slowly. I keep hoping it'll stop before it reaches my knees.

We are still talking about grass, right?

Tall fescue that stays green all year. I just mowed the front yesterday but growth will slow down as it gets colder.

Two... that's TWO different neighbors decided to mow and edge before 8am today.

Hence me posting now.

I'll show 'em, when I get my stepson to mow this afternoon when they're trying to catch a college football game or sumpthin'.

It's sunny as heck outside, gonna be near 80 this afternoon.

I've lived in my house now over two summers. One of the surprises was how the Bermuda grass in my yard slows down growing in August (maybe I'm not watering it enough). Anyway, I thought when I cut it two weeks ago I was done for the winter, but I think it'll need cutting one more time.
