Federal cops stole my money and screwed me! (not a good deed)

Costanza's sharing of his good deed at the ATM reminded me about yesterday when I WUZ DONE WRONG!

I had to visit a federal building and put my luggage and coat in the x-ray machine. I put my change in one of those trays and handed it to the security cop. It was about $1.32 or so. Most importantly there were two screws to hold the blade of a ceiling fan.

They looked at my luggage for about a minute and then did a handcheck (of the luggage-no frisk). I was in a hurry and grabbed the stuff and jacket. They never moved the change over to give me.

So I remembered last night when I got home as I went to empty my pockets.

THEY WERE EMPTY! Empty I tell you. (I'm not TEK but I tried)

I called this morning and they knew nothing about the change and screws I left. Uh huh.

Any ideas of how I can get justice? They screwed me!

Technically, they de-screwed you.

Do they not have a lost and found?

"$1.32 or so" ?!?
See there's your problem. Had you asked..."has anyone found $1.33 and two screws?" they would have said..."Oh sure, that we have."
You gotta pay better attention to your cash totals.

Well, at least you managed to avoid the full cavity search. This time.
You are probably on some trouble maker watch list now.

Well I'd just fed a parking meter with an assortment of nickles, dimes and quarters. I thought it was a two hour meter but found out it was only one hour when I put a quarter in and it went from :50 to 1:00.

At that moment I was pissed I wasted an extra .20. Little did I know what the future held.

j123vt_99,

I know. That was my point. What's the use of a screw without a nut.

Once I found a money clip left by the metal detector at work (on the floor, a bit aways.) I took it (it was empty.)
