McDonald's Monopoly

Anyone want to trade McDonald's Monopoly peices? I figure one or two of us maybe able to actually win if we can get peices from all over the country. Who's with me?

I have:

Atlantic Ave.
Marvin Gardens

B&O Railroad (x2)

States Ave. (x2)

New York Ave.

Park Place

Baltic Ave.

Oriental Ave.

i think the winning pieces are rare nation-wide not just region wide.

it'd be kinda stupid for the person with the rare piece to share with someone with a common piece

Hey, I just figured it was worth a shot. At least someone might be able to win something.

I'm pretty sure that the $5000 Best Buy Buck is pretty damn rare.

I've got two of each railroad except for Short Rail (or something like that, whichever one starts with a S).

I got an email like this the last time there was a Monopoly game..:

Dear kinda hearted soul,

My name is Becky and I was born with an unfortunate disease that took away my body, and today I am just a head. I am able to communicate with you by blowing into a straw. Anyhow, if you could find it in your heart to send me the Boardwalk Monopoly piece from McDonalds i'll gladly share the money with you. I need it very badly for shampoo, and for my little brother.. who's just a foot needs a new pair of odor eaters.

Well then you're in luck since Short Line is the rare one, according to the website posted above. From a McDonald's Employee on that site (he/she claims to have all the pieces except for the rare ones:

Mediterranean Avenue
Vermont Avenue
States Avenue
Tennesse Avenue [sic]
Kentucky Avenue
Ventnor Avenue [sic]
Pennsyvania Avenue [sic]
Boardwalk (obviously)
Railroad: Short Line

Does anyone know of the win redemption process if you find one of the reare pieces. I mean, if you got Boardwalk, would they actually make you find a Park Place, or do they really just act like an instant win piece?

I think it would be fun if the next time there is a contest they make Park Place the rare one. That way we could see everyone flip out when they pull off a boardwalk, and think they found the rare one.

It's not accurate. That page above that matta got the list from is from the 2003 monopoly game, not the new one.

Here's the actual unofficial tally for the 2004 game:
http://www.cheril.com/mcdonald/2004_...izes_tally.htm

Note that it says Short Line is indeed a winner/rare piece, for an O.A.R.S. Whitewater Rafting Adventure Trip. Might want to double check and then go to McD's and buy a ton of sodas to collect the rest of that set and win.

That would be awesome if they screwed up the distribution of rare pieces for the railroad and were forced to give out thousands of trips.
