Nope. I've thought about getting one a couple of times (either a shotgun or a handgun), but never have. My inlaws live on a farm, so I'd be able to shoot out there. Handgun would be better for that, but I think I could scare the shit out of a burglar with a shotgun if I was ever robbed.

Nope.

I plan on turning into a flesh-eating zombie before my neighbors do, so no worries there.

I think it's best to have one - sure, you may not think of a reason right now, but why not have a gun for when the unthinkable occurs?

no, I do not own a gun
glock 30 .45acp
ruger mk2 .22lr
ruger 10/22 .22lr
pump action .22 .22s/l/lr
ithaca 20 gauge pump shotgun
remington 870 12 gauge pump shotgun with factory +2 mag extension
remington built springfield 1903A3 dating from 1942 .30-06
winchester built M1 Garand dating from 1943 .30-06
russian mosin nagant m44 dating from 1944 7.62x54R
saginaw s'g' built M1 Carbine, not sure of manufacture date but saginaw was one of the USGI builders in WW2 so it's authentic and not an aftermarket version .30 carbine
romanian sar1 7.62x39mm
bushmaster xm15 .223/5.56mm nato
beretta 92fs vertec 9mm nato
EMF Remington 1875 reproduction .45lc with a second cylinder for .45acp
Yugoslavian M48 Mauser 8mm mauser (which I think is technically 7.92mm)

you'll notice the WW2 theme

edit: still need/want a .308/7.62x51mm nato rifle. would like an M1A but they're pricey so I'll probably get a FAL or HK Clone. cheaper mags for those too vs the m1a. also want to get a cheap m1 garand from the CMP and get an unfinished stock for it to stain and varnish how I like it and get it rebarreled in .308. and a 9mm upper for my bushmaster. and probably a modern style revolver in .357. and a .50bmg but that's way down the list due to price

None of my own per se, but we have "family" guns. They're all at my father's place right now (although I've considered bringing one of the shotguns to my place) but eventually they'll be mine, and then my kids(if I ever have any) and so on.

We even have a Civil War era musket that's been in the family since it was new (not sure if it was ever actually used in the Civil War or not though)
